Javad Mohammadi (*1996) from Herat, Afghanistan, left the country as a newborn after the first Taliban takeover and fled to Iran, where he grew up and went to school. Later, he returned to Kabul and worked as a journalist. After the Taliban's return to power, he left Afghanistan and came to Germany.
