Why am I here?
What am I doing here?
Can I find safety here?
I miss my homeland,
although it is a place of war.
I remember my childhood.
There was no hate
and I did not know
what racism is.
Now everything is broken.
The people are poor.
Or dead.
I long
for peace and freedom.
