In February, the poets of The Poetry Project visited Trebnitz as guests of the Schreibende Schüler association. The Winter Literature Week is an annual event, and this year, The Poetry Project had the opportunity to present the project through a reading and two workshops.
After the poets' reading, the students transitioned from listeners to participants as they engaged in active dialogue with the youth through small group discussions and even authored their own poems. Within this framework, the central question of discussion was "Where do I belong?" This question was explored both orally and in writing. Collaborative dialogical poems on topics such as migration, home, and intercultural communication were the result of this collaboration.
