Kathrin Bach
Workshopleitung The Poetry Project
Kathrin Bach, born in Wiesbaden in 1988, studied Cultural Sciences & Aesthetic Practice and Literary Writing in Hildesheim. She later trained as a bookseller in Berlin. She writes and publishes her own poetry (e.g., the collection “Schwämme” with Parasitenpresse, Cologne) and enjoys supporting others in their writing as an editor and workshop leader.
She firmly believes that we all have poems within us and aims to help participants in her workshops at The Poetry Project to uncover their poetic voices and put them on paper. Free-writing exercises form an important foundation in her workshops, from which more poetic forms can develop over time.
