The Literaturhaus Berlin offers a wide range of classic readings. Since 2021, it also has a literature channel: literaturkanal.tv is the world's first platform that bundles high-quality literary content online, expertly curated and made available to everyone free of charge. Among many others, literaturekanal.tv published a recording by Syrian poet Lina Atfah, whose 2022 poetry collection Grabtuch aus Schmetterlingen ("Shroud of Butterflies") was nominated for the prestigious Leipzig Book Fair Prize in the translation category.
Now there are also recordings by nine Poetry Project poets! Leyla Akyildiz, Bahadȋn Akhan, Mohamad Zahra, Mustafa Aliesa, Mariia Kaziun, Iryna Omelyanchuk, Anastasiia Dunaieva, Razia Karimi and Tayebah Joya were recorded at the beautiful Literaturhaus in Charlottenburg this November. Actress Selin Dörtkardeş read the German translations.
