We are delighted to once again be represented this year at Berlin’s Muslim Culture Week with our event “Voices of Longing.”
Is an in-depth study of poetry necessary to fully grasp a poem? Or is it enough to let yourself be carried by the sound and rhythm of a language? Come and find out for yourself – at an evening full of poetry, music, and heartfelt connections. Poets from different cultures will present their works in Arabic, Persian, Turkish, Kurdish, and German. Among them are our poets Shahzamir, Bahadin, and Zainab. Their verses speak of longing, flight, love, and arrival in a new home, accompanied by traditional musical sounds. Experience a multilingual poetry evening that celebrates the diversity of artistic expression and invites reflection. Let yourself be moved by the voices of longing!
