Nadiia Kulish (1987) is a Ukrainian journalist and author who has been living in Berlin as a war refugee since March 2022. Before fleeing her country, she worked for Ukraine's public broadcaster (Suspilne Ukraine) for many years, including for television and Ukrainian radio. After arriving in Berlin, she continued her journalistic work, writing for Der Tagesspiegel, among others.
Parallel to her journalistic activities, Nadiia devotes herself to creative literary projects: she writes poetry and short prose and has already published a collection of poems in German.
In her literary texts, she processes the profound experiences of loss, exile, and the arduous reconstruction of an inner world in a foreign country. Her texts have been presented at readings and literary events and are part of German-language publications in which she is represented as an author and co-author.
