You were a remarkable achievement!
From the final days of Autumn
Bare branches, the changing seasons,
And the last pomegranates cracked open.

Along with tea, fairy tale books and rhyming couplets,
You appeared out of the wild invasion of two eyes,
You set foot in an unknown land.

When you come, come barefoot this time,
Cross the village bridges.
This time you will hear the ‘sound of the water’s steps’.
The breath of fresh air will caress your hand.
When you reach the end of the path,
You will see it,
The heart of the village, beating for you,
And the roaring river will become your voice.

This time, come in the night
Take in a nocturnal breath,
Like a soldier returning from the war.

Stand out on the wooden bridge,
Until the moon lifts its veil from the river
And hands it to you.
This night the bridge will receive
An abundance of parallel lights,
And the god of post-war stories.
